Home Style Sausage Gravy (Your stomach will growl for more) 

2 pkgs. (16 oz. each) Regular Flavor Uplands Gourmet Pork Sausage 
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion 
6 tablespoons all purpose flour 
2 cans (12 oz. each) evaporated milk 
1 cup water 1/2 teaspoon salt 
1 to 2 teaspoons black pepper, to taste 
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (optional) 
12 warm biscuits 

Cook sausage and onion in skillet over medium heat until sausage is no longer pink and onion is translucent. Stir in flour; mix well. Gradually stir in milk, water and salt; bring to a simmer and cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add pepper and pepper sauce as desired; cook 2 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over split biscuits or eat with bread.
